My name is Liu Fei and I have a strong background in pharmacy and drug design. I obtained my bachelor’s degree from the Ocean University of China and my master’s degree from the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences. I developed a keen interest in bioinformatics during my studies, especially in analyzing sequencing data and identifying specific genetic patterns using statistical and machine-learning methods.

I am currently a Ph.D. student in Liu Lab in the Department of Pharmacy at NUS. My research focuses on single-cell sequence analysis and QTL analysis, which are powerful tools for understanding the molecular mechanisms of diseases. I am also passionate about applying statistical methods and machine-learning methods to discover novel disease-oriented genetic patterns.
